We believe every child has the right to a rich and varied curriculum that challenges, inspires and promotes very high standards of achievement for all. Children are always watching their teachers and parents so we teach these attributes through example. Skills development is a major focus in the early years and primary level. Strong language skills & Numeric skills are the foundation of literacy development.
Teaching Strategies
The school maintains that outstanding teaching is characterised by a variety of teaching and learning styles. As such, teaching is based on a range of strategies including whole class, small group, paired and individual approaches. The weighting of these approaches is varied according to the composition of particular teaching groups, in order to best meet pupils’ individual needs. However, great emphasis is placed on working with individual children, at their own level.

Good Discipline
We wish our school to be a happy, caring and well-ordered community and so a high standard of behaviour is expected. We aim to maintain this standard by being consistent in our expectations, setting a good example to the children, encouraging them to develop an awareness of others and teaching them to exercise self control, discipline and respect.
Home-School Communication
We believe communication between school and parents is extremely important. To aid this we have a school website which is updated weekly. www.mbiispatna.com. We believe that good relationships and close liaison between home and school will help the pupils to succeed. Parents and carers are encouraged to communicate with the school regularly to check or comment on their child’s progress, particularly if they have any concerns. A Home-School diary is used to aid communication.

Teacher support and development is considered to be the backbone of the work at VVN School. For a teacher to be effective, it is important that we recognize the factors that permit teachers to perform their roles effectively .

Library
"A sanctuary, a mine of treasure, a house of maps to secret lives in secret worlds- the library became my other home.” Joy Crowley.
The library is thus, a common platform upon which all students meet on a common level with equal opportunities. It is the nucleus of the school environment, the centre of the intellectual activities of the school. The school library is integral to the teaching and learning process.
ELA,Maths and Science Labs
ELA labs:
All children will take part in learning the three key areas of English: Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing. English and Literacy is a compulsory element of VVN School. It is also an integral part of the whole school curriculum, used continuously in all lessons.
Maths Lab:
The focus of Mathematics at MVVN School has a high emphasis on ‘life skill’ orientated tasks, including money skills and giving and following directions. Pupils are given opportunities to develop problem-solving skills and use a range of practical measuring equipment, Jodo gyan and Abacus
Science labs:
The purpose of science education at VVN School is to enable pupils to develop an understanding, and take an interest, in themselves and the world around them. A broad knowledge and understanding of the natural and physical sciences will support their independence in society and their lifelong learning.
Robotics, Digital Classrooms & ICT labs
VVN School recognises the importance that computers and technology already play, and will continue to play, in our pupils’ lives and it is our aim to foster their natural enthusiasm for Computing and ICT and to encourage them to become independent, confident and responsible users of technology. PE, Yoga & Sports
PE and Sport at VVN School aims to enhance the overall education of its pupils by encouraging confidence in their own physical ability, and promoting an understanding of the values and benefits of exercise and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle.

Outdoor Sports: Skating Arena, Basket Ball, Badminton, Cricket net and Athletics field, football and etc.
Swimming Pool
Swimming is useful to children in many ways. It not only strengthens the shoulder and thigh muscles, but also allows children to breathe deeply, and sustain breath under water for long periods of time. Realising the importance of swimming for fun and as a sport, children are provided specific time slots and weekend slots for practice of swimming.
In VVN School, swimming is conducted by trained coaches and is supervised carefully for the safety of each and every student involved in the activity.
